Photographer Steve McCurry

Steve McCurry has been a one of the most iconic voices in contemporary photography for more than 30 years, with scores of magazine and book covers, over a dozen books, and countless exhibitions around the world to his name.

Born in a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; McCurry studied film at Pennsylvania State University, before going on to work for a local newspaper. After several years of freelance work, McCurry made his first of what would become many trips to India. Traveling with little more than a bag of clothes and another of film, he made his way across the subcontinent, exploring the country with his camera.
It was after several months of travel that he found himself crossing the border into Pakistan. There, he met a group of refugees from Afghanistan, who smuggled him across the border into their country, just as the Russian Invasion was closing the country to all western journalists. Emerging in traditional dress, with full beard and weather-worn features after weeks embedded with the Mujahideen, McCurry brought the world the first images of the conflict in Afghanistan, putting a human face to the issue on every masthead.
Since then, McCurry has gone on to create stunning images over six continents and countless countries. His work spans conflicts, vanishing cultures, ancient traditions and contemporary culture alike - yet always retains the human element that made his celebrated image of the Afghan Girl such a powerful image.

McCurry has been recognized with some of the most prestigious awards in the industry, including the Robert Capa Gold Medal, National Press Photographers Award, and an unprecedented four first prize awards from the World Press Photo contest, to name a few.

Photographer Katarina Stefanovic

The intensely saturated colors with extraordinary compositions, breathtaking sceneries, terrains with all sorts of turns and twists, and with lows and highs, fluffy clouds forming master strokes and magical lighting sending viewers into a fantasyland. Yes, I’m talking about Katarina Stefanovic. Her landscape photography even has some sort of surreal effect that I find difficult to explain – it is hard to come out of it though. All her pictures in fact speak for themselves. An engineer by day – Stefanovic’s style is very creative and unique . Unlike most of the photographers these days, she still shoots on films – then scans images to image editing tools to play with shapes and colors.

Photographer Ricardo Gomez

I am Ricardo Gomez and I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am a true Californian and have spent considerable time travelling throughout the state. Ask me about a location in California. I’ve probably been there!
Photography and fashion has always been in my life in the background. I have been an avid reader of GQ Magazine, a leading Men’s magazine, since the age of 12. The magazine has always been quite political and upper-crust oriented. I didn’t care about that. I would just flip to the classically-oriented fashion sections. I still pick up the magazine to this day. A funny fact: When my brothers wanted to buy their first suit and accessories, they came to me! Probably the greatest compliment came when we all went to a wedding together and a cousin told us “You all look like bankers!”. Everyone noticed the big grin on my face. Job well done.

Photographer Roeselien Raimond

There’s so much tenderness and near-human emotion in Roeselien Raimond fox photography that we’d almost call it an achievement in portraiture! Roeselien is a wonderfully talented nature photographer, who took these awesome pictures of foxes. The lovely animals are seen playing, hunting, grooming one another and generally acting like one big happy family. Of her work with the foxes, Roeselien says that she is propelled into taking pictures by her love of storytelling. “I think I’m just a fan of the more complex, layered characters. (…) Every fox has his own character, which keeps me fascinated.” She’s been studying these characters of the wild for years now and is convinced that “They have a free will, just like us, and where some other animals might have more predictable routines, foxes are quite spontaneous. You never know if you will find them sleeping or hunting… or if you’re going to find them at all.

Photograper Jose Ramos

When the aesthetic power of nature meets a man's vision of the world, creation takes place and images become the crystalized hybrid product of this encounter. Travelling and endlessly searching for the light, the silence and the lessons of the landscape, here I present you my vision of the world as seen through my eyes and soul, hoping I can at least take you there just for a moment, to the moment which lies so intense in my memory...
