Christian Lamontagne is a Canadian photographer specialising in documentary and television reporting. It was during an internship at the Magnum Photo Agency in Paris that he became interested in reporting. He is regularly involved with Groupe PVP productions, on documentary series such as Terres Arctiques (dealing with new geopolitical issues in the Arctic about the consequences of global warming) and Artisans du Changement (an international series, supported by UNESCO, which makes contact with entrepreneurs who work to improve the fate of the world through their innovative ideas and concrete actions). Christian Lamontagne has worked in over 35 countries and on 5 continents. His photos have been published in most of the Canadian dailies and in several magazines. His images have graced four books and his video productions are regularly broadcast by Radio-Canada, RDI, Ushuaia TV and TV5 Monde.
