Photographer Julio Bittencourt

I was born in Brasilia because my parents both journalists, had to go there for work. We came back to Sao Paulo when I was still only a few months old and I live there with my wife Paula and our dog, Ozzy.
Although beautiful, life is short and as a photographer there is very little time and not so many projects you can shoot during a lifetime.
I use a Canon 5d mark ii and my favorite lens is a 50mm. This is what I usually use for all my personal projects. It’s always important to plan and study what, who, how and where you will be shooting to able to quickly adapt to the not unusual unexpected situations you will be caught up in. I personally prefer long term projects mostly because you have more time to understand, feel and hopefully capture in images all the things mentioned above.
I love people, travelling, books, films, music and food. In that order.
