Christopher is active in the art community in Arizona and beyond. He continues to work with multiple art organizations and is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor at Arizona State University. Recent awards include the Humble Arts Foundation New Photography Grant, Artist Project Grant from the Arizona Commission on the Arts, a Public Art Commission from the Phoenix Commission on the Arts as well as an artist fellowship through the American Scandinavian Foundation.
When not making work Christopher can be found spending time with his wonderful wife Melanie, darling young sons Wyatt and Oliver, a houseful of animals including a rooster named Samson and Chihuahua named Esteban who don’t really get along. (Update, the Chihuahua won, Samson moved three houses down to live in peace.)
